I own two other Ottolenghi cookbooks, so I knew what to expect from Plenty More: the photos would be beautiful, there would be some weird ingredients that I wouldn't be able to get, and there would be some recipes that would be worth the price of the entire book. It was the very first recipe I made upon opening the book, the Butternut Squash with Cardamom. Yes, I had all the ingredients for this dish on hand. I've made it twice and I can say it's one of the best things I've ever tasted. He is not a vegetarian, but he does miraculous things with vegetables. If you're a chocoholic, this book is for you.

   Beautiful book, impressive recipes
I'm a huge fan of the author's photography and the fact that she gives an introduction to each recipe. Also, it seems to me that the directions are pretty labor-intensive, even for those who have specialized training. It's not a book for folks in a rush to get food on the table, but is a good one for people who love impressive recipes. They said it was "the best cheesecake they had ever had." It was a relatively easy recipe to follow, even if you're not a culinary expert. I think it could go up in the rotation.

   Love this cookbook!
Now I'm absolutely go to places for everyday vegetarian recipes and special occasion cooking. I sometimes need to subtract a few spices or other ingredients or lower the amount of oil, salt, or any other additives. There are too many tastes that don't work for my palate or would be too caloric in the case of the oil. But since I adapt most of my recieps for my taste, I don't find that a deterrent.

I am not a vegetarian, but Ottolenghi has always hit a high mark for me. Many of his recipes have become standard fare in my household. Just about everything about the new DVD is new, too.

recipes way too complex for day to day cooking-you could spend all day getting the ingredients and another day preparing them-major disappointment.

Bought 3 of this authors cookbooks
Beautifully illustrated by Mark Bitton, The Age's Senior Editor, The Cookbook is a must-have for any kitchen. I have not used any of the recipes, but have heard rave reviews of many of them. These are very nice presents for a birthday or anniversary present.

Easy to follow and work well with any tableware, the six recipes are a delight to try. It will be great to try it, Mr. Dhaliwal said.
