The show's creator and executive producer, Phil Hester, said: "Be here now." Be in this moment, Lord. Tomorrow is uncertain, but here and now is all we have, Bruno told the judge. I read them all, randomly, just let the book open where I may. Very good customer service.

A book for lovers of poetry and those who hate poetry
Derived From Web , Oct 22, 2020
This book has become a staple and essential part of my daily life. I have two copies of the book, one that I keep at home and one in my office. Through the book, Kline helped bring language to what is often unspeakable in our lives. This carefully curated selection of poems cannot help but touch your heart and your life, they are engaging, enlightening and enlivening. As i have read it, i have been reminded of Kim Langley's book Send My Roots, a wonderful companion to Rain-Dai's book. Both are must haves, and must read.

Not to read to a yoga class
Derived From Web , Oct 20, 2020
Not all what I was looking for, Tunick said. I could never read a yoga book. I'm not a huge poetry person, but the poems seemed to me to be a little weird and not relatable at all. He added that there is a "lot" of God's work to be done.

Perfect Poetry for our Challenging Times
Derived From Web , Oct 12, 2020
This is an amazing collection of poetry for any time, but it is especially helpful in these pandemic times when life is restricted and full of uncertainty. It's great to have this book and be able to savor each poem and let it lead me into meditations on life, death, and meaning, she said.

Wonderful Book

It's just that I read it every night before I go to bed and have wonderful things in my head as I fall asleep. Because of a brain injury, I have a lot of difficulty reading poetry.

This Is the Book You're Looking For
Derived From Web , Jul 11, 2019
Phyllis and Ruby Cole have done the world a great service—and produced that thing every writer and editor aspires to—a book that strikes a resonant chord in our deepest places. Or maybe you've just promised yourself that you'll slow down, gain some perspective and take a deep breath. Whatever your reason for wishing you could find a wise, beautiful book that could help you or people you care about step back and remember there is more to life than busyness, sickness and fears are distorting your days, this is that book. Like many other reviewers, I got four more, then another batch of three. It's an essential companion to me — and the right gift for so many others. It's free.

Like a Restorative Yoga Class For Your Mind!
Derived From Web , Dec 20, 2018
I didn't know what to expect when I bought this book, Claire said. I've loved the idea of mindfulness poems, but frankly, I didn't know exactly what that might mean. So partly out of curiosity and partly out of a desire to support the nexus of art and mindfulness, I bought a copy. Now I read from it almost every day, using it as I did a book of the I Ching, opening it at random and reading the first poem I land on. And they almost always speak to me as if the writer had been reading my mind. Five copies have been bought. Four for my sisters and friends. For those who seek and want to reconnect with their spirit in this crazy, sped-up world, I highly recommend this collection of beautiful, heartfelt poems.

A treasure
Derived From Web , Feb 4, 2018
This book is a wonderfully curated collection of poems. I've started many mornings by reading a few each day and I'm grateful for the insights and wealth of wisdom the poets included here have offered, he said. The choices are to the left or to the right. I love finding certain poets I will certainly follow and also enjoy becoming acquainted with new authors whose works I will certainly follow now. I had subscribed to the project A Year of Living Here that inspired this book, and I was so happy to see that Phyllis and Ruby published a compilation of their work. It was a gift for me, now it's my favorite present for friends and family. This is a great book, highly recommended.

Mindful poetry
Derived From Web , Nov 14, 2017
Originally became familiar with these poems through receiving one a day in my inbox for a year, as part of a Year of Here Being mindfulness project by the author. Those daily poetic missives were so profoundly touching & in practice mindfulness that I gladly encouraged her to publish them in book form, & happily purchased them for myself & to give to friends. This collection is unique in its focus, yet the poems span the range of time and subject matter.
