Fun to read with the littles.
I don't know who is more fond of this book, me or my daughter. We'll hear animal noises coming out of the playroom as she keeps herself occupied with it. She'll run out of her room to get us to read to her, and she'll push the buttons while we're doing it. It makes story time more entertaining.

   an amazing book
The media couldn't load. My son likes this book. It's a great combination of images and sounds. He likes to hear the animal's voice when he presses the button after turning the page. I bought this book for him. I will recommend it to everyone. The book is printed on paper. The pages are shiny and very nice.

   Didn’t work
My daughter will be getting a Christmas present. There was no sound when the tab was pulled. There are 3 batteries that I checked. It doesn't make a sound when turned on and off. I think the batteries are gone. I hope it works once I replace the batteries. I could return and order again. I don't think I need to pay $7 to have the batteries in a new book replaced.

Babies and toddlers love the sounds, great companion for pre-I curriculum
We have had this for four years and it still works. As babies and toddlers, my daughters loved the sounds and pictures. It was a great book for my older daughter's preschool co-op, we did a unit about habitats, and then we made costumes similar to the kids at the end of the book. We made a sensory bin that connected to each animal. Kids created pictures of animals. It was easy to work into a pre-k curriculum.

Sound panel was fallen off when delivered.
When the package arrived today, it was opened. The glue holding the sound pad on was dried out.

   Broken
It was terrible. The book was broken. When I changed the batteries, it still didn't work, so I didn't rush to return Bc, what a hassle. I spent a lot of money on a book that doesn't work.

   Not a fan
I have a lot of sound books for my child, but this one is the least enjoyable. The sound buttons didn't match the book. There are references to the polar bear in the book, but there is no sound. The book suggests that you push the button for the animal on the next page if you are on the prior page. I also don't like that. My child is looking at a different animal and I don't want him to hear an animal sound. I want them to hear the sound of the animal.

   Bright pictures, wild noises!
This book is a lot of fun. I bought it for my son. Some of the sounds the animals made are a little scary, but they are pretty accurate. You can't go wrong buying any of Eric Carle's work. I was amazed that my son was able to push the button so fast. It is easy to turn pages for little ones because it is large. The board book is very high quality. I would recommend.

   Love it!
3 year old loves this. The best way to read is interactive. I announce who hears who as she presses the buttons.
