Love Notebook of Doom books!!
Derived From Web , May 10, 2022
We LOVE the notebook of the Doom series! It is just challenging enough to keep him working towards a better reader, but has a very engaging story line. Limited pictures, but has some, especially the drawings of the monsters, which my son loves.

8 year old boy loves these
Derived From Web , May 10, 2022
My 8 year old son, who does not like to read, absolutely loves these Doom books and gets up to reading for more than 20 minutes at a time, so this is great for him. It helps that the main character has his name, I think.

Fast shipping which was nice. He loves these books
Derived From Web , May 10, 2022
They arrived in good condition and were unamaged. The shipping was fast, which was nice. I have not read them, but my son read one to my husband and he said that they were really funny books. He is an excellent reader, but would rather play video games the whole day if we would let him. For him to ask for the whole set and see him re-reading the ones from school tells me that they must be pretty awesome books.

Great Series
Derived From Web , Nov 4, 2020
This is a wonderful series of books written and illustrated. Follow Alexander Bopp on a journey through his new home town, battling monsters as he meets a few new friends and teams up with them to save his school and town. Each book can be standalone, but sometimes they draw on previous stories.

Another great Notebook of Doom story!
Derived From Web , Nov 7, 2019
My second son loves to read and LOVES all things spooky. Although he loves to read, he has been a little behind in reading chapter books. These are the first chapter books he has been really into. He can read them on his own, but slowly reads them and struggles with an occasional word. They are definitely age appropriate though and he is beginning to read them independently to get faster. Whether he read them on his own or if we read them to him, he is completely captivated by these stories. He loves the beasts and the art works throughout the book. I also enjoy the stories as a parent. They are cute, funny stories without any obnoxious characters or storylines. I love that my son gets so absorbed in the stories and has so much fun reading them!
