Cute story, great pre-k prep
Derived From Web , Oct 18, 2021
We tried for months to hype up pre-school so that he would be ready to go and not have a meltdown, Melissa said. He loved this book, it's a cute story and he actually got excited to do all the things the book shows, Sosa said. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at (888) 382-1222.

Just OK
Derived From Web , Oct 7, 2021
This book is just OK, Michael. I bought it for my son who was struggling with his transition into preschool. I wish I had listened to some of the other reviews. It takes you through a whole year of school and talks about very specific things that your kid probably won't even experience. There is also a page about hitting a punching bag when the kid is angry, which I always just skip over since my son's school has no such thing and I don't want him to learn to hit things when he is mad. I also change the wording on the first few pages about drop-offs because the parent enters the school and promises to stay for awhile. During the Co-Ed period, parents are not allowed inside the school and the kids are dropped off at the door.

I gave this to my grandson before he started school. He's really into it, said Blair. He enjoys the story and the pictures, too.

… where is the plot?
Derived From Web , Jul 24, 2021
I bought this book to get my 3 year old acclimated to the idea of going to preschool and... wow! I wish I had. At best, the plot is muddled. Rather than outline the first day of preschool, it goes through the entire year. In my opinion, it's too complicated for a three year old to grasp, and if I may offer my opinion, it's too annoying for a parent to read. Pass this one.

Great Book for your first time preschooler!
Derived From Web , Nov 16, 2020
We're huge fans of this book, and although my daughter did not have any issues with going to school the first time, this book was a great conversation starter.

Damaged.

The book arrived damaged and was inoperative. The poems and photos are nice, but I wouldn't purchase them again or for a friend.

Nice rhymes but only okay
Derived From Web , Jul 21, 2020
Events that might happen over the course of a year in preschool are covered by the policy. Other books I liked were more focused on a single day drop-off of nerves, playing, nap, pickup or something else.

Not the book you want
Derived From Web , Mar 4, 2020
This is not the book I thought I was reviewing. I actually had to put this book away because I didn't like the wording of the introduction. Introduced fears he had not thought of it yet.

A book for all preschoolers
Derived From Web , Nov 20, 2019
The foam was for my daughter's first day of school. It was a blast, and she absolutely loved it. It would be a quick read, and then she would "read" it back to me. Even into her first year of school, she still asks me to read this book. Such a cute book, Grace. A French judge has sentenced the singer to two years in prison.
