Very nice illustration, said the mother of the child. We've read it a few times, but we're not planning to. There are a few pages that are challenging to read on a phone in a mostly dark room, but otherwise we really like it, he said.

This is a sweet story about parents' love of their kids, Raymond said. I love the use of the word pretty _ no to mean physically but how the children are on the inside, "pretty sweet," "pretty kind," etc.

I enjoyed the book and the positive affirmations, Morgenthau said. Soft illustrations support the text and give additional meaning to the words. Every child needs to know they are loved, simply for being themselves, and this book provides a non-gender biased way to do so, the author said. The latter sections show how being loved by the child makes the narrator feel pretty loved, too.

The illustrations are great, the story is well-written and the whole book made my son smile. Our favorite page is the one with the white cats, because I love your warmth, your laugh, your smile, the silly things you do. You make me pretty filled with joy and pretty happy too, he wrote.
