My niece received a diary from a pug book. She wants the rest of the books to be available for Christmas. I thought I would get this book and another one from the series as a gift for Christmas, along with 2 other books of the diary of a pug series.

Not as expected
Derived From Web , Jul 2, 2021
It wasn't written in a way I expected it to be, but it was the firstdiary book I've purchased. I bought it to read to my 2yr old because she didn't like it. I am returning the book because I wouldn't have purchased it if I had seen it first.

Very cute book for kids who love pugs!
Derived From Web , Jun 7, 2021
The dog we have is a pug. I adore pugs. My daughter adores pugs. The books are written in 1st person by the pug, who shares his likes and adventures with his girl, and his cat, as well as their friends. The format is easy for kids to read and enjoy. Right now I am reading to my daughter who is going in K. It's acceptable for a 2nd graders to read on their own. There are 5 books in the whole series. We'll keep reading them. The stories are entertaining and the pictures are adorable. It's perfect for pug and puppy loving kids.

Love this book

Oh my goodness. It's super cute, but also pushes creativity and even S.T.E.M. And, pug. Win-WIN-WIN! The artwork is very cute. My son loves reading. I think he would buy more of the pug books if there was a boy character. My son is struggling with reading. It's hard to find books that engage him. This one is very popular.

Eh, there are much better "diary" books out there

This didn't work for me. We won't get more. The value of the comedy felt forced. Something didn't work out for us. My daughter is 12 years old and she likes Owl Diaries,Sophie Mouse, and Unicorn Diaries.

Fun story
Derived From Web , Nov 17, 2019
My son liked this book and wants the others. The chapters were short, making it a good book for that in-between stage of being too old for picture books but not ready to read most chapter books alone. He was so proud that he read the entire thing to me in 3 nights.
