Good if you don't know "precuts" advantages
Derived From Web , May 5, 2022
It is good for people who do not know how to cut precuts. It didn't give me a lot of new information. I use precuts since they came out. This book may be better if you get the magazine or watch a TV show. It's a good place to look if I've forgotten about a cutting. I gave it a 4 star because of that.

Love the guidelines to cutting fabric
Derived From Web , Sep 6, 2021
I'm upset that the book is small. The spiral and pages aren't in alignment. "I don't like to twist my pages." Otherwise it was very informative.

A disappointing rip off.
Derived From Web , Dec 28, 2019
It has about 30 pages and is about five inches by seven. The information it contains is the same as what you'll find in any major quilt magazine. The 25 pre-cut block patterns are thumbnail pictures. When you subscribe to a magazine, this book is on the order of something else. I expected more from Missouri Star. I will probably send it back.

Sad and crinkled

I recommend this product for purchase, but not through Amazon. I was very disappointed with the condition of the book. It is crinkled and beat up. I expected more from Amazon.

Pamphlet, not a book.
Derived From Web , Jun 21, 2019
I thought I was getting a free pamphlet when I opened my order. I realized it cost over $9 dollars. It would be useful for an absolute beginner, who had never quilted or dealt with fabric. I am not an expert but this is a waste of money. The format of the pictures is flimsy. I am sure the publishers mean well, but this is a pamphlet not a book. I'm returning it. The first time I did that.

Good for beginner quilters
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2019
This guide had a lot of good information for beginners. I was disappointed in the size of the handbook. When I first looked at the item listing, I saw the spiral bound part but didn't pay attention to the measurement. I would recommend it to a beginner quilter as it had some useful information. I will give my copy to someone.

This book is perfect for beginners. You don't need more information because the basics are here. They give me ideas for combining fabrics and colors, but this basic book with many charts and detailed instructions is all I need.

I no longer need to turn to google and spend 10 minutes combing through the results to re-find my favorite tutorial - it's all here in one book
Derived From Web , Jun 19, 2017
A reference book is so useful. I quote, "It has everything." I can now find my favorite tutorials in one book without any need to check out other websites, as they are all here in one book. It was definitely a new necessity.
