It's spicy but not too much, said Dr. Anthony Citrano, director of the Institute's food safety program. Softened eggs turned out perfectly fine. Second time around, I think we'll make it.
   Not for beginners
It's a good book, but not a book for beginners. We're delighted to be able to offer these recipes to our customers, Mr. Bazzi said.
   Very few pictures. Traditional cookbook.
It's a very nice book, said Blair. The cover is nice and the book is well-written, too. Traditional Japanese recipe book meets pornography in one. Only a handful of pictures appear in the book. There are pictures of every recipe, so I felt there should have been pictures of every recipe. Ramen is not only a food, but an artist. Zilkha conceded that the team "missed the mark."
   Must read for all Ramen-Heads.
The book is a stunning example of how two masters of the universe come to be. This does a wonderful job of breaking down all of the different parts of the ramen and all of the many different kinds of ramen. Easy to follow, these are quick and easy to make. There are even a few meat dishes that I've made without making the whole soup. This book is a great read for those who don't plan on making their own ramen.
   Great cooking with this Book
I recommend this book to anyone who reads it. The book gives you the history of Ramen in a delightful way and the recipes are so easy to follow. I'm not a book snob.
This is the bible for ramen
Just got this and am really looking forward to cooking ramen just wish it was all recipes and not the history of it but I guess you get the best of both worlds with this book.
   Glorified Ramen/Saimin
There is an extensive Japanese food Pinterest board dedicated to ramensaimin recipes. Thanks to [Joanna] Gaines for giving me some excellent ideas for new ingredients and techniques. Yes, I'm excited to be testing them!
