Doesn't Disappoint
Derived From Web , May 1, 2022
My 6-year-old son has devoured the entire series. So much so that a year go we emailed the author in hopes that #3 would be on its way soon. It was a great surprise to my son when one of his favorite authors contacted him back. It's just that we don't have enough money." We're thrilled with the outcome, said Blair. The author has such a great way of keeping young kids in suspense that saving more chapters until the next night was just torture for my son!

This book its easy to read
Derived From Web , May 1, 2022
This book is easy to read, even if you have no interest in religion. Once you start to read, you can't stop. This is the best book out of the series, but you should read the other books.

Kids love it!

This is the first book in a series of Eerie Elementary books. Each week I read to 4th graders at my local school. They are exciting, lots of action, written through the eyes of an elementary school kid, and are pretty quick reads, too.

My 9 year old son loves these!!!
Derived From Web , Mar 6, 2020
My son is 9 and has a very good academic record, but he is not a fan of reading. We have found some of the only books Mr. Hughes has ever read. One of the first times he read a book he said, "WHAT?! I've been reading for 20 minutes, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It felt like 5, said Dr. Goin. Thanks for the support! It's a very cute and imaginative story line, too, Blair said. I feel like they would be suitable for all kids, especially those needing a slower transition to chapter books, because they have a picture every 2-3 pages which my son loves! Great for 2nd and 3rd graders, or a higher level 1st grade reader!

The books are fun and suspenseful without being too scary
Derived From Web , Mar 26, 2017
The second book, "Lethal Confusion," was also a fun and suspenseful read without too many scares. They are also short, which gives reluctant readers a shorter time to read.
