Anyone can betray anyone

It is more political with a little bit of romance. My favorites in this series were Red Queen and Kings Cage! The Glass Sword was very slow and I had to really push through.

Not original
Derived From Web , Mar 28, 2021
I started reading this series because it came highly recommended and received really good reviews in the public eye. I read it all the way through War Storm and let me say it is a force to read through. I haven 't enjoyed reading any of them enough to go running to read it. It is a very typical plot of a poor girl who stumbles into a royal situation and then war ensues. And the dialogue isn 't interesting and I keep waiting for it to pick up speed for what it has been cheered for. The Red Queen series seems to have taken every single fantasy teen novel and rolled it into one. It does not seem to be original or intriguing. I hate going through a book alone a series halfway, but for this one I did.

Good series but damaged books
Derived From Web , Aug 4, 2020
I love this so much! '' I have completed the first part and it surprised me greatly! I also love how beautiful everything looks. However, some of the books came damaged the first three books, all having the covers bent in the same place. Some of the pages were ripped at the top a bit and the case that the books came in was ripped and bent at the top.

Parents beware!

This series is extremely inappropriate, promotes violent relationships, and makes men look like complete idiots. Normally, I donate books to a charity, but I was forced to donate it to the recycle bin.

The Red Queen series is a really good read if you are someone who likes stories about love, danger, fantasy, betrayal and war. I love these books and I hope that soon another comes out to say what happens in the end, to make it final and permanent. Red Queen : Praise to the Red, “Rise, Red as the Dawn â€.

Great but faulty.
Derived From Web , Jul 19, 2019
Loved the books, great storyline. But I found the characters'logic somewhat faulty, resulting in foolish, if not right stupid actions, which frustrated me. The books still kept me wanting more and I fell in love with characters. The only other compliant is I did not care how many characters were either lesbian or gay.

met expectations
Derived From Web , Apr 23, 2019
This series had a very long exposition and took a little longer than most books to reach the climax. I think it may be because Victoria Aveyard is a play writer. For those who like books that go straight to the point, this may be a downfall. However, because of the very detailed background, I was able to understand the characters really well. This series also brought up modern topics, so I appreciate the controversial approach. Yes, it is true.
