--Damon Lindelof, Co-creator of LOST

To write a book about effective and inspiring communication is a challenge because it has to demonstrate what it advocates. Nancy Duarte has certainly done that. Compelling. Convincing. Utterly practical. This is a gem!
--Patrick Lencioni, President, The Table Group Author, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team

Few things excite me more than a great communicator--something I've wanted to be ever since I ran for president of the seventh grade. While I think I've come a long way on that journey, I never fully understood what it takes to be a world-class communicator until I read Nancy Duarte's Resonate. Read this book, absorb this book, practice what it preaches, and you'll be on your way to being a great communicator. Thanks, Nancy.
--Ken Blanchard, Co-author of The One Minute Manager, Recipient of Golden Gavel Award

Your business life will change after you read this book!
If she writes a book about social adjustment of Ebola infected aliens in the Roman period, I will be the first one ordering it. She has the determination of a fighter, the presentation of an artist and the creativity of an inventor, Raymond said. Anyone who will stand in front of any audience and preach an idea of any proportion must read this book. A story is usually a present, wrapped in a gift. either you have it or you don't. Nancy shows us how to develop the ability to become better presenters and use story-telling technique that she developed. If you will present to your customers' management, your CEO, or even to crowd-source TED, then please do yourself a favor and buy this book.

The Best Book on Presentations Ever Written
A lot of people have written books on creating and giving presentations, but none has tackled it as comprehensively as Nancy. If you want to change how you think about, approach, design, create, and give presentations then this book is what you've been looking for. If you're looking for a quick fix, then you're probably disappointed. The book has shaken me to my core. It's opened my eyes and set me on a new course, he said. It's challenged me and has proven to me one certain thing. It's just a small change, said Dr. Goin. It's just that they're not big. I now know it is possible. I've read many, many, many books, but this one resonated with me. I know it will with you too - but make sure your ready!

   Enhance your gift
We can be great thinkers, writers, exceptional speakers or any of a hundred more talents, Raymond said. We all have in common the ability to tell stories, he said. Stories are part of our lives. The key to a great story is in the delivery, he said. Even the best of stores is boring when the delivery is bad. Nancy Duarte, 61, was the star of the CBS film. The book is almost 300 pages of ideas from some of the world's great communicators. The fifth and final volume of the "Harry Potter" series, "The Deathly Hallows Part 2." Apply the ideas to your project. PowerPoint is the creator of great presentations.

   Interesting and original.
He also praised the book as "original and based on some very interesting research." It's a keeper and I'll refer to it again and again.

Great book to beef up presentation skills
The reason I was disappointed with this book is that I was planning on using it for other purposes than what the author intended. Husband has had it for years and has kept it in his car. If you are a PowerPoint pro, this is a good book to read and take note of. However, if you are looking to learn leadership or just how to relate to people, you may want to check out other schools. Whether you are seeking to enhance your presentation or speaking skills, this book is for you. For more on John Maxwell, check out this week's issue of The New Republic. If you think that you deserve to be made fun of, you won't be sorry.

   Great Info
This is great news, said Dr. Goin. Easy to follow format helps clarify how to present an idea whether it's in a PowerPoint presentation or not. The audience sections and organizational chapter are perfect for spring-boarding some creativity, he said. You get out of it what you put in it.

Great information, poor presentation. You'll need BOTH the KIndle version and the book
Applying the practices to corporate presentations will cause them to be seriously upgraded, he said. The book is extremely difficult to read because of the small font and light weight of the book. The solution is to read the Kindle version, but the graphics are not available in the Kindle version. It's just that frustrating. Nancy pays attention to your own advice about visual communication. You know I said you didn't come here and hence two stars.
