Great Read!
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
I bought this for my son's son because I grew tired of him and his older sister not knowing anything about history. I figured that I would start him with the Magic Tree House books because I have read several other books in this series and he loves them. Thank you Mary Pope Osborne for helping me to learn about history in a really fun way.

great source to introduce the American revolution
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
On Wednesday, the American Revolutionary War was a great way to present our daughter to the Revolutionary War. While she completed it within a few hours, I would highly recommend it, along with the American Revolution A Companion to the Revolutionary War on Wednesday, to start studies for homeschoolers or have a great set of books that help explain why the American Revolution began. The resource guide has the true facts of the revolution and is something we return to several times during our studies. And was definitely an added bonus at the price!

Great for elementary students
Derived From Web , Jan 31, 2021
I am a teacher of special education at the elementary school level. I have a small reading group of third and fourth graders who had just finished James and the Giant Peach at Thanksgiving. They were actually excited to read it every day, so I was hoping to find a great book or series with which we could follow. My seventeen-year-old son actually recommended the Magic Treehouse series to me, and we started with this one on the Revolutionary War. They enjoyed the book and of course it opened the door to have conversations about history as well, which is great. Next week we start our third Magic Treehouse book. Since last March, I have been teaching, so I bought the Kindle versions and shared my screen with the students.

Not what I thought
Derived From Web , Jun 6, 2019
It isn't fair that this book has received only three stars. But I wanted it to be an enjoyable means to teach history. Instead, there was more fantasy than I expected.
