It did a great job for our discussion about teams
I have made copies of the story in order and put them face-down to a table. The laminated pages were distributed to the 20 employees and their assignment was to put the story in order. A few years back, we did this with a smaller group using Zoom. My only complaint about this one is that it does not seem to flow as effortlessly as the first. This one is good, but I do think that the other one was a tad better. I am unaware of any other stories like these, which is too bad because they are very good for team building. It is a time consuming preparation and you need to leave 20 -30 mins for the team to discuss and assemble.

Rich illustrations for a powerful concept
I bought two copies to use in my work to illustrate how our perception changes when we zoom in for more detail or when we pull out to gain the larger picture perspective. Although this is supposedly a child's book, I wonder if the illustrations would really captivate children. The contemporary illustrations are much more sophisticated than those of farm animals and rocket ships in the books predecessor, aptly entitled Zoom '', but the rich graphics are perfect for adults and the concept behind the book is powerful.

Use it to teach AP World History!
I placed the book apart and took each page in an inexpensive black folder. Then you could use large envelopes. The number of students in the class received one or two depending on the number of students. They had 15 minutes to put their picture in order without showing their picture to anyone else - they had to use their words. I am amazed at how much they loved this activity! It also gave us a common vocabulary during the year when I said zoom - out-of-focus, while we lowered the level of detail as we studied. This was a really valuable skill for us all year round!

I use this to demonstrate how everyone in our organizations' jobs affect everyone else's job, I call it the big picture. In the past few years, I have ordered 7 books so that others can teach the same exercise.

Not quite as good as the first...
I have the original Zoom Book and this. I use the books in groups and finally had to stop using Re-zoom because too many people did not get it as easily as they get the original.

   Team building ROCKS!
Pages out of the book have been cut and without speaking people put them in order.

   WooHoo! He made two!!
One of the exercises involved the book ZOOM. I did a search to see if there were any others and discovered this. It is useful to develop the organizational and observational skills of students as well as enabling them to work together to solve a problem they have never seen before! I cut the pages and laminate them to distribute them to my students. Then use the class period to work together to place the pictures in order that they can ZOOM out or ZOOM in! It is a great way to engage all learners and make math fun!

Good, but not as good as the first
The red is still pretty cool, but this is far superior. Nevertheless, very interesting and cool.

   Engaging and Entertaining
It would be a great addition to a classroom library, book collection, or office coffee table.
