   Loved this!
I was looking for a book on how to deal with frustration in a positive way for my 3 year old and took a chance on this one, Morgenthau said. I'm very happy with the choice, Garton said. She was into the story, which had some good lessons, Morgenthau said. The last two pages had helpful techniques and approaches for parents to use.

This book has been great for my daughter!
Had been looking for a book that still had a story and was still fun to read with my daughter about handling our emotions when angry and upset, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. The strategies aren't new or unheard of, but she actually engages them more as we talk about the book so often.

Great book for your tantrum toddlers
My son has been having pretty bad tantrums, his mom said. We had tried time outs, and even tried Daniel Tigers book about being mad. The plan floundered and nothing worked. I bought this book to try out the other two. Second, I love that it addresses a real life situation that can happen, ie a kid knocks over her block. She does the same things that my son does, throws things and screams. My son absolutely loves dinosaurs and the book is filled with them. Like most people, he likes to name the ones he sees. It also provides multiple ways to express her feelings. We asked him if he was mad and told him to stop, but he kept on throwing tantrums. We would do the breathing and counting with him. It helped him down the sand tantrums, but they aren't as bad as they first appear. Highly recommend. Don't read it to them while they are mad, it won't sink in. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

   Great book!
A great book. We call it "making bad choices." Lately he has started acting out when he doesn't get his way, which I know is common. He hits softly, kicks and pushes things over because he cannot understand and can not vocalize his emotions yet. The book was written and illustrated in a way that he could grasp. It helped us to relate Riley's feelings about that incident to what happened to my son earlier in the day. The activities were a great transition into us acting out taking deep breathes, counting and even wiggling around to help him settle down like Riley did. Definitely recommend.

   Anger Management tool
I really, really love this book. The illustrations are very nice and the book is very good quality, Mr. Cowger said. It was a blast, my son really loved it. He has an anger issue and he has very attentively listened and watched this," said Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It has helped me immensely with anger management and I have recommended it to others with kids with anger management challenges. The tips at the end of the book are awesome, too.

   Excellent read
I think stories that offer a view point and show children that other kids go thru this too are wonderful. It asks for the ages of the book's readers, but I also read it to my 4 and 11 year old.

   Read it!
I tried it for my 6 year old because he is having a lot of anxiety and anger issues. He also tells me that he believes strongly that it was because of Covid that he was cranky and not being able to go back to his normal lifestyle. What a great book, hands down, for any kid, no matter the age. Recommend this book. I then added his middle name Riley and his brother Parker.

   Amazing resource!
I've read all the books, but this is by far the best. As a speech-language pathologist, I know that it is hard to find good resources to support emotional intelligence, Raymond said. The illustrations are beautiful and will help any kid at any age to enjoy the story. I will be using this book for years.

   Must have for your library
I found this book on Instagram and I'm obsessed. A great story for my boys with even more resources, Mrs Clinton said. I've already shared this with mom friends and colleagues and I'm hoping to incorporate it into trainings I run on self-regulation for elementary students and their teachers. The illustrations are great and the book is great, Melissa said. It's a must have for your home and classroom libraries.

This book is perfect for anyone who wants to address anger. It was a blast, my kids said, and immediately shared stories of times they felt angry. Thanks for all the resources and activities at the end of the project. It's great to be back home, said Blair.
