Ellie and I share a love of cooking!
From the first page, I was hooked. All young people can relate to family struggles, acceptance, new surroundings, friendships, faith in the story of the girl with cerebral palsy.

Great Story About A Girl With A Disability
My 9- year- old loved it! She is a fast reader, but this lasted a week. She moved to live with her grandparents in Nashville. She met new people. The mom thinks they should move back to Tennessee. Is it best to stay with her mom? I don't want to spoil the story for you, so I'm not telling you much about it. You' ll love it if you' re a kid. Your child will love it if you' re a parent.

   Great Story
I am a special needs mom so I like to read books about children with disabilities. I enjoy reading books that show the life of children like mine. Reading about kids gives the reader an idea of what it's like to be a kid and hopefully fiction will help break down some of the myths about kids with different abilities. This book did it. The characters are believable. I will recommend the author's story to others.

   Love! Perfect for middle grades.
I will be using this book in my classroom library next year. I couldn't put it down while I was reading it. I finished the book in a day and a half. It is well written. It gives a diverse viewpoint and I like it. I can't wait to teach my students to read!

   Important Book
I loved this book. I was able to understand a bit more what life is like in a world ill-equipped for someone in a wheel chair because of the quick-witted girl named Elli. There is more to the story, including her love for baking, her grandpa's Alzheimer's, and her first real friends.

   A must read
I have been working with kids with disabilities for 13 years and I want to give this book to many of them. The book is in the hands of all of the people in the world, including the children of the world. Can not recommend it enough.
