Great for anyone who doesn't have the confidence to start
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This is a great book for someone who doesn't know where to start and also for someone looking for more recipes. There are a lot of good books out there, but there are also a lot of errors. There are multiple recipes for similar things because I don't always have the less common herbs at home. There are good instructions for dosing and also warnings about taking a certain herb.

I am having such a wonderful time with this book, said Blair. It's beautiful work, said James Hughes, executive director of the Peabody Essex Museum. One of my daughters has a few skin issues, and the beer root tea does wonders to smooth them out. I'm shopping for ingredients for my chamomile tea.

A little on the mystical mumbo jumbo side with the stories, but I just roll my eyes and go to the useful information, he said. If you're seeking an alternative to traditional medicine, you may want to consider buying a subscription.

This book is a necessity for anyone interested in growing/collecting herbs.
Derived From Web , Jun 13, 2021
I've used many, many, many reference books. I read it from the front to back when I got it. I am starting to grow herbs and flowers for teas and health products and I couldn't do it without this book. The book is a great introduction to the French cuisine.

Dull, out of focus photography
Derived From Web , May 5, 2021
The majority of the pictures are sepia-like, black and white, blurryout of focus. All photos are colored with black and white squares. The Harrisons are taking away from the potentially essential content within. I had high hopes for this program, Bruno said.

Well written resourcebook
Derived From Web , Nov 5, 2020
The format is very easy to follow with good explanations about the subject and how to use each plant, Raymond said. Some are even more effusive: "Illustration is good, most are identified, wish they all were." The book is a must-have for any book club.

Skunk cabbage is POISON!!!
Derived From Web , Oct 4, 2020
I dont trust this book bc on page 88 there is a recipe that includes skunk cabbage. Skunk cabbage is harmful in very small doses, and pregnant women should not eat it. Buyers beware: The deal may go bad. I am throwing away my book bc I dont trust it.

Great Herbal book
Derived From Web , Feb 16, 2019
This book will give you great information to make teas tonics, oil and other flavorings. For various ailments, the specialist may recommend surgery. The person that worked their asked me about what parts met because she has had many customers that have asked her about it, she said. In this video, I explain what parts of the herbal recipe are used in making the tea. It is very helpful to know what is met by parts. I had a sore throat and cold, but I was able to make some of the recipes. Parts are defined as "any part of the body that is used or repaired." For example, one would use tablespoons for all the ingredients of the balm, one tablespoon for lavender and three tablespoons for passion flower. Cups, teaspoons, metric cups, and even some decorative knickknacks will fit the bill.
