I love this book with all my heart. I look for books with strong female characters as a mom of 3 daughters. The book has an amazing message, beautiful illustrations, encourages creativity, and is awesome. It is a new favorite of mine. It will be good to read to my little boy the message of not giving up and being proud of who we are and what we do. I have read it 3 times in 3 days and each time I get chills. It would be a great addition to any library.

This book is fantastic. Not sure what else to say about it
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
The book is great. I'm not sure what to say about it. We got it after my daughter turned 4. I will have to turn in my man card for this, but I cried when I read it for the first time. It crashed. That is correct. It did what it was supposed to do. Rosie, before it crashed, it flew. Sniff it.

Guide to laughing at people who care about you
Derived From Web , May 11, 2020
Rosie gets laughed at by people she trusts and loves when she tries to help them. One person who laughs at her later hugs her and tells her it's ok to fail. How does this model behavior for children? There is little realism to the ideas and nothing that would interest a child who is interested in engineering. The book has a fakespot rating of D, I.E.

Great book for many ages.
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2019
The book is cute. It adds flow to the book. The illustrations are cute. I bought the book for our baby. My husband and I read a book to my baby each night when he is off, to make sure we teach diversity and squash gender stereotypes. I think it's important for boys and girls to know about and see women in traditionally male jobs. Our little one will be interested in tinkering with different objects when they get older. Absolutely adore this book. The price was good. I got a brand new hardcover copy for $8.99. I'm looking forward to reading this for a long time and adding her other books to my wish list.

All Around Amazing
Derived From Web , Jan 15, 2019
This book is amazing on so many levels. It has a great message about failure and not trying. On top of that, it is well-written with captivating rhyming verse, portrays girls and women in unconventional roles, touches on the history of our country, and has a beautiful illustration. I don't know who is more fond of it, my daughter or myself. This is an instant classic.

Fun Book About a Budding Mechanical Engineer
Derived From Web , Dec 27, 2018
The book is about a young engineer. She likes to create new things. There is an actual plot, conflict, and resolution in the story. A beloved family member isn't being supportive. I don't think this makes the book bad. It's a challenge that you will have to overcome in order to follow through on your dreams, because not everyone is going to support you in your endeavors. Rosie comes her challenges in this story. The book was fun to read. My youngest child liked it. My 10yr old boy commented on how good the book is and made suggestions on other books in the series. I will definitely be ordering more.

Great book, bad packaging
Derived From Web , Mar 6, 2018
The book was good, but the packaging was poor. The book was thrown in a bigger box. The dust cover came off as a result. It's a pity to get a new book that already looks used.
