fun to look at/bright and colorful illustrations, but don't like the poems

Our daughter loved Giraffes Can't Dance, so we bought this book. Some of the poems are awkward, but the illustrations are as interesting and bright as a regular board book.

My two year old loves this book!

This is taken off the shelf every day and my son reads it to me several times. He's about two and a half years old and he loves rhyming words and seeing animals. If he knows the sound they make, he will make their sounds as well. There are two versions of the book, a farm version and an ocean version. Since my son loves animals, I will probably order those as well.
