Great series... Well done!

My 6 year old son absolutely loves them. We purchased the first one at his school book fair. I ordered this one and it was great to see it through. He really enjoyed hearing about the different dragons and all the great masters of the craft. He was very engrossed in the plot and loved the suspense of it all, Hughes said. Even though we're not big fans of Gillian, we did end up doing his first reading fair project. I got to draw all the dragons and all the other characters. We are really excited for the third book and are eagerly waiting to order it. It's a great read, said Blair. Thanks for the tip.

Great Series- These books pass the "Cool!!" test!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My son absolutely loves the series and is eagerly awaiting more releases, his mom said. I'm so glad Scholastic has begun this new line of early chapter books-- perfect for early readers who are anxious to read cool books! My son looks up to his older brother who reads lots of exciting books- Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, but he is not quite at that reading level yet. This series is perfect for a kid who wants to read cool books, but isn't quite at that Young Adult reading level yet. We can't wait for Scholastic to release more books in the series!

Great Series for a Young Male Reader
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My son has not taken to books like his other children. This is the first time I have found that he really enjoys reading and takes time to read on his own. A very good book for a second-grade reader. I have already bought them all!

This series are amazing! As a reading specialist
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
The second part of the series is also amazing. As a reading specialist, I recommend them to all my reluctant readers. There are few shows that hook readers as well as "Transitional Readers." The book encourages readers to bridge from early readers to chapter books. We love Drake, the main character, Sosa said. If you have a reader who has a love of magic and dragons, this series is great. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

So glad I found this series!
Derived From Web , Dec 19, 2021
I stumbled across the series of books at a local bookstore while browsing for an early reader book chapter for my six-year-old son, one we could read together at bedtime and that he could also practice reading on. We had previously tried the Magic Treehouse series, and I couldn't understand why it was so popular. The stories themselves were boring to my son and didn't keep his interest, so I had to read them all over again. And because each book has an illustration on it, it's perfect for the transition from picture books to chapter books. If your child isn’t reading yet, don’t hesitate to introduce this as a read-aloud bedtime story.

Great series for a 7- or 8-year-old!
Derived From Web , Jun 13, 2021
We're working on the rest of the series. As of now, we've read 5 or 6, and my grandson talks about the book his grandpa read the most. While a couple of the female characters in the series are slightly unlikable, I suppose it's good to have some realism.

Wonderful independent and family read for my first grader
Derived From Web , Nov 29, 2020
My 6 year old absolutely loves the show. In first grade, he's doing okay, even though he's a bit shy. These are just the right length and difficulty level for my son to be able to read a chapter on his own, and most importantly, they are enjoyable enough that parents don't mind reading them aloud." With kids learning remotely my son has been “reading†a lot on EPIC and virtual library apps, so it’s great to see his enthusiasm for physical books with pages!

Great book series to spark the imagination
Derived From Web , Feb 28, 2020
The book series stands in a class by itself, especially the questions at the back of the book. There are some unusual names that they might need help with at first. My son is a 2nd grader and he is finishing one night, but he said he would reread them. For any kid who has to finish something, this is a great chapter book.
