   Excellent for scales
I have used this book with my students for years. The fifth is the last letter of the alphabet. But, for some students, the print may be too small.

   Cheap, Useful Guide to Chords, Scales, Arpeggios.
It's just that I didn't realize this would be so flimsy and short. But my friend, a four-time soloist at Carnegie Hall's Weill Room who taught piano in high school, recommended it to me. This is very bare compared with the space available on Earth. An explanation of the crash is not available. A lot of sheet music, you know? If you want more music theory, get another book. This is cheap and gives a good sense of drills, too, he said.

   Just what I was looking for.
At age 75, I am just now relearning the piano lessons I used to hate as a kid. The book pushes me further into the theory of the music. Only now is it starting to make sense. The scales, chords and arpeggios are a necessary component of learning to play the piano at this age.

Basic scale and chord resources. Choice of one or two octaves, or minor to major scales. Three-chord quatrains are in octaves, and inversions are in octaves. I'm delighted we were able to complete the deal, said Blair. Arpeggios in 2 octaves are also included. I have found the most comprehensive chord and scale book I have ever encountered.

   Great Value to boost your physical skills.
An amazing amount of scales for almost all levels of difficulty. I am currently working on the piano basics book. They are great for me, and I love that they don't just about a quick learning experience but they teach you the fundamentals as well as the vocabulary necessary to learn the music and the instrument, he said. I use the Bastien series books in my classroom. This book is great for kids and adults who are level 2 and up. It includes one-octave and two-octave versions of the scales so that the younger players have something to build on without having to buy another book.

   It is the scale book that you will use
So you know what your teacher has been saying, scales, then this is the book for you. It's a great book, easy to read, and I recommend it to anyone. A line of arpeggios also is very nice, Mr. Gest said. It is a more complex scale book than you would expect from a bookstore, but it is the scale book that you will use.
