If you loved the first volume of the lunar chronicles then this would be a great read.

   Scarlet (the lunar chronicles vol.2)
I loved seeing both perspectives of cinder and scarlet and until they both meet. I don’t have anything to complain about it was a good book.

Not as good as the first book in my estimation.
The first book, Cinder, was a reimagining of the Cinderella story with cyborgs and mind-controlling moon people. It's more of a thriller retelling of Little Red Riding Hood with werewolves, mock space travel, cyborgs and mind-controlling moon people. While I'm not necessarily down on romance stories, the typical tropes drive me nuts. She was all over him, but he kept pining over and on top of her, until she was convinced bad boy would change. The story bits with Cinder were still pretty good, though the space travel stuff was a tad too convincing. I enjoyed the new character, Captain Carswell, as sort of a relief comic Han Solo fangirl, but I'm a bit more wary now.
