Great book! (No negative answers)
Derived From Web , Jun 24, 2021
My child loves the book. I was hesitant to purchase because of the poor reviews, but then I saw a review explaining the problems and decided to purchase. There are no negative problems in the review. I attached a picture to read the directions. You just take all the ducks without the ones walking away for the answer. This is a good learning tool for parents to teach their children. The book is a good one.

Great book! Don't listen to the bad reviews!
Derived From Web , Jun 10, 2020
I read reviews that say this introduces negative numbers. It doesn't. Those users can't follow directions. This is a great book, and helped me a lot while I was trying to work from home and keep my child learning. He liked it, the pictures were easy to understand, and it was easy to grade. This is the one to get. It's worth it.

My 5-year-old’s favorite work book.
Derived From Web , Mar 21, 2020
This is a great book for math. My son wants it! For those who say some problems give a negative answer, he will ask to do the pages unprompted. The example of 4 turtles very close to 6 turtles and the math sentence they wrote out in the example is 10-6 4 were shown. It doesn't mean it's wrong if you thought it meant 3-6. You didn't read it right. First, look at the example. What is wrong with teaching negative numbers if you go that route? Getting ahead!

great!!!

Excellent price. There are no negative value problems. When I saw the answer on the back, I understood the problem. My daughter is home educated. She's seven years old. She owned the first stand alone math workbooks. In July, I ordered. I realized it was hard and my daughter needed more practice. I ordered Kumon math books for grade 1 addition and subtraction. She went through it. She came back to this book after finishing the two books. She was ready for it. She did two pages every day. She has two more pages to go. I asked if she wanted me to order the next book. She said that the School Zone is more colorful.

Good but...
Derived From Web , Jul 16, 2019
My child is almost 6 years old and loves this book. It builds on what she learned last year. The reason for 3 stars is incorrect on several pages and I have to change them or have her flip the pictures so the answer isn't negative. This happens throughout the book and is annoying.

Negatives on second page?
Derived From Web , Feb 5, 2019
I ordered this to do some work with my child. There was an equation where the answer was a negative number on the second page of the first page. It would be more appropriate for later down the road with an explanation.

Negative answers confusing. Terrible!
Derived From Web , Jan 10, 2019
I don't think they should be learning negatives at this point. The images I am posting have 4 pages in them. There are no answers at the back of the book. My son was confused and had to move to another book. Will use it for addition. Will not work with this company again.

Great workbook!
Derived From Web , Apr 7, 2017
Excited for my child to learn about this. Cute visuals make learning feel light and fun. Which is crucial when it comes to a subject like math. I like all of the school zone books. I think it's a great book. You can come with a cute certificate at the end.
