   Great for kids who love science but not reading
After completing the books, he loves sharing information with us. This is a perfect series for children who love science, but don 't love reading. The vocabulary is a graphic novel challenge for a beautiful book style. Currently, my son is in the 5th grade.

   9 yr old daughter loves science, and enjoyed this book very much & learned a lot.
9 YEAR OLD said the following LIKED It is funny, it has a science book style DIDN'T LIKE It uses the word stupid, but it can be crossed off 7 YEAR OLD said the following LIKED It's hilarious! Some DIDN'T LIKE words were not so easy to pronounce.

   A fun book that is very educational
They are super educational and this one is about brain and brain function, but they are cartoons and tell the info in a way that kids find interesting. My son started telling me how the eyes and ears work and how they connect to the brain to process the information. He is writing a book report on this. He also loved the one on Plagues... who knew! What do you think?

   Not for kids with a faint heart.
The setting is a girl who is kidnapped to have her brain taken by a mad scientist, so that for some children may be a little scary. But overall, an interesting and fun science book.

   Fantastic book!
My daughter will not read it until Christmas, but I have already received it. At the age of nine, my daughter suffered significant brain damage at birth, which led to a lot of motor planning deficits and learning disabilities. She knows the story of her birth, what makes her different and how occupational therapy and speech therapy are helping her. I taught her the basics of how our brains work and where her brain is damaged. This book goes into a lot more detail in a humorous comic style with a wonderful plot perfect for teaching the nervous system without being strictly informational.
