I really like the way the book is organized, and I can read about a topic or two and sit for a longer read. It has great coverage with an interesting theme, it is well written and is bound well. The photo does not justice to it. But its contents are great still.

Since I was old enough to bike to my university bookstore in my hometown, I have LOVED Wooden Books. The same goes nearly 10 years later. This is a straight reprinting of 6 books that would be $10 each ) QED 2) essential mathematical and physical formula 3) Evolution 5) The human body 6) The compact cosmology How could you do better for $12? I also get a copy of Quadrivium. So, you should not be afraid.

Great overview book for the science enthusiast. I would go in some topics just in detail. Other than that, it is a nice book to leave on your living room table and as a talking piece.

My fourteen year old really wanted this for Christmas. He found it in a big chain book store, and I refused to pay the price for it. Amazon ordered it so, and we were very pleased with it. The content is captivating and organized in a way that is easily understood. Definitely a recommendation for anyone wanting to expand their limited science knowledge in the department of science!

This is great for anyone who wants to get a taste for some different mathematical concepts without going deep into any of them. Also very cool sketches, fun to read.
