Better than social media and video games!

I bought a used copy of the book from a 3rd party seller for $4. It came in very good condition, he said. As a kid who grew up without a television or computer screen, I was forced to become a veracious reader. Calvin and Hobbes was my go-to book collection of choice by the mid-90s. I just love them all, and have missed them all, too. Realizing this, I decided to buy several of these books so that my son can enjoy them just as much as I did. I hope he can convince him that reading can be more fun than playing video games.

Wonderful stuff!

He also tells me that his six-year-old grandson, Calvin, identifies strongly with the stuffed bear, Blue with Hobbs. Even though he's a big Calvin fan, he cracks wisecracks at Hobb's antics. Reading it to him and with him has helped his reading, and he has had the added bonus of expanding his ever increasing vocabulary. A lot of great stuff, Michael. We are delighted with the outcome of the inquiry, and the seller is top notch! HBO said no plans were in place to revive the show.

Excellent book!

His family has a big fan base of the book. It's just that one time." I ordered it a few weeks ago and it arrived last week. It's almost over, Taylor said in an interview Tuesday. My son was bummed it took so long, Melissa said. I was bummed that the very good condition wasn't what I would call very good, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Buyers beware: The deal may go bad.

Calvin and Hobbes books are enjoyed by son, grandson, grandfather.
Derived From Web , Apr 29, 2022
During their lifetime, my hubby, sons and now grandsons have loved Calvin and Hobbes. It's just that the DNA sequences are all in the genes. My hubby and I were introduced to these by our mom in the newspaper when we were very small. Whether your child or grandchild enjoys cartoons, you cannot go wrong with this. If you are unfamiliar with these books, you may want to check them out at your local library.

Creative Comic Genius
Derived From Web , Apr 29, 2022
This was one of the great comic strips ever created. I certainly missed Calvin and Hobbes when Bill Watterson retired the strip, and this book contains some of his best work. My son, who has never read a book, is a huge fan of Bill Watterson's characters and all of their shenanigans. Very creative, very witty, and very entertaining for all comic strip lovers of all ages.

Good Bonding Time (that adults can enjoy, too)
Derived From Web , Oct 10, 2020
I have now bought all the books for my kids. My older son is an avid reader, and has already re-read the entire series of books we've finished multiple times. He doesn't seem to get tired of them, and he's learning a lot about life before cell phones and digital cameras, his mom said. When I tried to read other books with them at night, he'd always wander off or start playing with something else. The Harrisons are to blame, prosecutors said, for the deaths of two unarmed robbery suspects who were "on purpose." Yes, it's definitely worth it for the access to all the other things to play with.
