There are better books out there

The first 19 pages are straight lines, which is a bit excessive and a waste of money to me. Preschool Practice Scissor Skills Perfect Paperback '' was much preferred.

There are better out there.

I bought this Scissor Skills Book for my 4 year old, who has used the Melissa and Doug and a few other Scissor skills books in the past. This book is fairly boring compared to some other options available. Please see the pictures I have posted - you can see many of the exercises involve cutting lines and only a small section of actually cutting shapes. I think that other books do a better job of combining fun and thinking skills to make learning scissor skills more entertaining. My son does enjoy the gold stars, but I am not convinced that it will motivate him for a long time. I also wish that the pages could be ripped more easily.

Book this work Love this work Book! '' I bought for my nephew since his daycare teacher said they were teaching the kids how to cut. I figured out at home that I could work with him and was disappointed! I made copies of each page and my nephew loved it! Worth and it also helped him learn to cut. It also helped him learn to learn to cut.

Same stuff, no variety
Derived From Web , Mar 20, 2019
The book is over half full of the same material. 4 times cut in a straight line. I have found other books that have a whole lot of variety and cutting exercises that keep them interested.

Extremely boring cutting of lines
Derived From Web , Nov 28, 2018
This book is pretty poor. The quality of paper is very poor. But the tasks make it a One Star rating. It is only line after line, first straight lines, then waves, then zig zag. This is very boring for children, very, very boring.
