There are 28 books. I have read 27 of them. I could not afford the 28 th book. The price was very high, they are a collector item. I would buy the 28 th book if I could find it.

The book I received was in good condition. The cover is still attached despite the pages being yellow and dog eared. I like the white indian series and the author. I haven't checked on the authenticity of the information given about native american indian culture or if some of the characters are actually historical figures or purely fiction, but it seems honest and is quite interseting. A good mix of drama, action, romance, and history. Give historical fiction a try.
