The stories are barely stories, and the sentences are not very educational either. Even with the book cover, the small books just make a mess on the floor. There are better books out there that help children learn shapes and colors by themselves.

Very cute, Mr. Dhaliwal said. 12 board books about simple things featuring one of the sesame characters. The book's cover reveals that the children were apparently sent there by their parents as part of a "little suitcase." Even with its small stature, the Cube works as a little puzzle because they are a tad hard to put away. But it's worth it, because it has a little handle that fits into the hand of a two-year-old just right. The little books and their large suitcase really captured the attention of my two-year-old grandson, both for quiet manipulations or a quick story time from a nearby adult, depending on his mood and the moment.

My daughter absolutely loves the books. I thought maybe she wouldn't like them once she could handle them, but she absolutely loves them and I don't see that changing anytime soon. She carries the entire set around the house. This is the number one source of entertainment for our family.

They are small enough that you can take them out of the box and use them as stocking stuffers if you have multiple little ones to shop for.
