Book Overview

It's past time for some raw and candid conversations about virginity, promiscuity, and everything in between.

In a world obsessed with sex, why is the church relatively silent about it? While sex is twisted, perverted, cheapened, and idolized in popular culture, we leave young people drowning in the repercussions of misinformation, misunderstanding, and worth-robbing mistakes that could have been avoided.

Enough is enough. With raw vulnerability and a bold spirit, Mo Isom shares her own sexual testimony, opening up the conversation about misguided rule-following, virginity, temptation, porn, promiscuity, false sexpectations, sex in marriage, and more, calling us back to God's original design for sex--a way to worship and glorify Him.

Sex was God's idea. It's time we invited Him back into the bedroom.

Mo Isom is a light in the darkness. This book is a must-read for those tired of being pressured and deceived by culture's ever-changing view and ready to rediscover sex by its God-given meaning.--Lisa Bevere, New York Times bestselling author and cofounder of Messenger International

One of the things the church and our world need a lot more of is honesty, transparency, vulnerability, and truth all mixed together. Mo is that combination. I can't recommend this book enough!--Jefferson Bethke, New Read More chevron_right

   Not inline with God's Word
One of the very first Bible quotes I read in the book was not correct, so I chalked it up to a typo type of mistake. Another and another... The author uses the sin of a book the new living translation Bible. The NLT takes God's word and then changes the parts of the Bible that they felt needed updating and needed to match our current culture and times. By definition, this is the work of the devil. Not the author, but the version of the book she used as the Word of God. She is correct in aligning herself with the glorification of God, but is wrong in how she reads the Bible.

   Great book
This is a great book that touches on some important topics that most Christians are not discussing. Read it myself, gave it to my 15 yo niece to read and give it to my daughters once they are older.

This book will bring healing to those who are hurting - especially in their love life.
I wish I would have had something like this in college when I was trying to find my worth. This book even helped restore my marriage, as my husband and I were able to sit and have some sexual conversations about our honest and vulnerable testimonies. Literally, I can 't stop reading it. I read it now three times! Our churches, our friends, our pastors, our young leaders, our husbands, our fiancées, our sisters and brothers in need. These are some of them. The words are from A to Z. I feel like this book will be such a life changer for so many people, even if they don 't have a relationship with Christ. All I have to say is WOW!
