This was a hit and got a previously "I'm never going to read a book" kid huddled under the covers with a flashlight and a smile.

My daughter loved it

I'm thrilled that my 7 year old is transitioning into being an independent reader. This is the first book in the series that I have seen her devour. This book is about kids writing their own books, which didn't strike as much of a chord with her as the others, but she still liked it even if she was a bit confused.

This is an activity book

We were super disappointed we didn't pay attention to the fact that this was an activity book rather than a new book. My tween had no interest in it so we gave it to our neighbor's daughter and she absolutely loved it.

We love Raina!!

Raina's book "The Princess Bride" was also a New York Times bestseller. Yes, I have to admit that I do. I'm not sure my daughter will end up writing a story, but I can say she read this in it's entirety yesterday. We had run out of Raina's books and Sisters had been read so much that it fell apart. In "Share your Smile," Raina would be telling the reader different ways to express themselves on paper. She said she wanted it because she felt closer to Raina's books. Yes, I had to agree. Ms. Telgemeier is a warm hug on a cold, wet afternoon. You know you're in for a treat when you can't get enough hot chocolate. Waiting for your turn?

Raina Telgemeier's books are my kids' favourite. They are at a good reading level, tell real stories and show a good set of values, Hollingworth said.
