My kids love his books too

I am a huge fan of Mo Willems. His books about Elephant and Piggie are favorites with my kids. The stories are simple in dialog and illustration but have a way of sucking them in with silly characters. These books are perfect for teaching the comprehension strategy of inferring feelings. I wonder if I should share my ice cream. It is about sharing with someone else. The book shows Gerald the Elephant's thought process as he rationalizes his decision to share his ice cream with his best friend, and it makes me very happy. There was a great discussion in the family about the ending of the story.

Love it as always!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I purchase books for my child. She absolutely adores them. She was able to read them over and over and over. I think this would be a great idea to give a gift to someone who is 4-7 years old. I bought Should I Share My Ice Cream for the second time because it was going to my nephew's library. Shipping was very fast.

My son and I enjoy reading pigeon books. This is the first elephant and pig book I have bought for my son. There are more stories in the Pigeon series. The illustration can show the emotion of the elephant.

The BEST!!
Derived From Web , Jul 12, 2021
My daughter is going into 1st grade this year and she is sharpening her reading skills by reading her favorite books. She likes that she can read most of the books herself. She never gets tired of these, we read them every few days. We have about 6 of them, and I buy more when they are on sale.

Our go to bedtime story
Derived From Web , Sep 12, 2019
We own about half a dozen of the elephant and piggie books that we discovered recently. My 2 and 3 year old love them but this one is their favorite. This is the book that they chose to read. Gerald gets an ice cream and debates whether or not he should share it with his best friend. He goes back and forth but before he decides to share it, it is completely melted into nothing. Someone appears and saves the day. Great book, great series. The top is for toddler books. There was a point blank and a period.

A Review by E.R.
Derived From Web , May 18, 2019
Should I share my ice cream? There is a pig and an elephant in this picture. Gerald gets an ice cream cone in the beginning. Gerald is wondering if he should share his ice cream with someone. Gerald's ice cream doesn't melt in the end but he shares it with Piggy. My favorite part is when Gerald and Piggy share ice cream. It was great. The little parts in the pictures are what I like the most. I recommend this book to first graders because it has words they already know and is a picture book. I recommend this book to kids who like funny books. Go and read this book and then share it with a friend.
