Only in a month, my child’s math advanced up
In exchange, I told my kid to work with this book a few pages a day, and my child said it is getting easier and feeling a lot more confident in math and starting liking it, and now she is working on the 3A.

   Not much practice
I noticed that most pages are only 1-2 pages for long addition, subtraction and so on. It seems to me that the kids advance pretty quickly without much repetition.

   Tiger mom approved!
I can 't stand what is taught in the 1st grade math class at my son's school 2+3?! That is, kindergarten math is in any Asian country. Consequently, I bought this book for my first grader. Although it is not as intense as the real math curriculum in Singapore, it is one of the best I can find on Amazon. He is almost done with the book now. This book needs parents to work with the child to introduce good concepts, but the sample questions at the beginning of each unit are very basic examples. The challenging questions are super fun to solve with my six-year-old brain workout for a kid. I start the book Level 3 soon. Hope it's as good as mine.

Great for use as a supplement for school or using as part of a homeschool curriculum
I bought this book to supplement for a 7yr old in the public school. Once the schools were shut down because of the Covid virus, we did homeschooling and the book was a great tool for additional math instruction. The 7 yr old thought that the pictures were much better than how she taught math at school and made great progress in understanding the concepts taught with this book. The next one will be used as well.

   Great Math book!
I ordered this as a supplement for my son to help him in school with what he was working on. I have used Singapore Math in the past and enjoyed it very much. It has been easy to teach for the children and easy to understand as they go through the book. It was fast and when it arrived in perfect condition, it was shipped.

Improves Math skills but not as difficult as the Singapore Math Challenge
For my child, great additional math - practice was great. I think it was not just for the second graders when I looked back. I was hoping that this would be a more advanced version of , but it is not. I think that Singapore Math is the best math book series.
