Nice storyline but feels like it is forced.
Derived From Web , Feb 4, 2021
The book has pretty impressive illustrations and a nice storyline, too. It's hard to find the right way to explain why I don't like it. The book was originally written for children of the super-rich. There are a few illustrations that are a little more diverse, but it seems forced. I bought this book for my 2 1/2 year old, but the book is for children ages 5 and up. It also has a paper cover on it, which can easily get damaged or lost, making it unusable.

Good luck reading without crying!
Derived From Web , Jul 21, 2020
If you have a sister, like me, or have two daughters, you absolutely need this book. In addition, I have a 6-year-old sister who is three years younger than me. It was a present from my girls for Christmas. I couldn't wait to read the book so the second I received it, I went into my room, opened the book and read it all by myself. I'm glad I did because I wept, I mean alligator tears, Tunick said. It instantly brought back sweet memories of my childhood with my sister and flooded me with all sorts of mother emotions for my sweet daughters. It's a must-have book.

Lovely illustrations, awkward writing. Wouldn’t reccoemned.
Derived From Web , Feb 17, 2020
This was fine but a little disappointing, Garton said. The illustrations are lovely, and I like that they portray a diverse group of sisters, but the writing is awkward. It feels like a first draft, written by none other than Robert Hein. The book's prayer poem, repeated throughout the book, is especially awkward and a little nonsensical. It also missed the chance to properly explore the complicated relationships between sisters, something about how they don't always agree but always love each other and are best friends. Only when the big sis finds the baby a bit boring will she begin to wonder what it is that makes her want to be a big sister? They feel like they missed an opportunity to acknowledge sibling conflict, Raymond said.

Truely Good Sister Story
Derived From Web , Jan 26, 2020
I bought this book for my nieces who are very close. I've read the book and I'm in love with the two sisters. It would also be great for a big sister who is expecting her first child soon. This is a cute story with great imagination and the illustrations are very creative, too.

Book for sisters by a sister
Derived From Web , Jan 18, 2020
I've read all the books, but this is by far the best. It was a present from my sister for Christmas. It's my and my sister's life story. I wrote on each page, to add to it, I found. When my sister opened it, she was touched, but as she read each page written by Jenna and then added our story in my writing, it brought her to tears and I got a gift that is best ever and got a big hug. Barbara and Jenna did a great job.

The order arrived when promised and as viewed online

It was a gift from my sister. A book of stories by an adult, as well as a child's. We both were so touched by the memories of our childhood growing up together that we couldn't help but smile. Loved it!

BUY THIS BOOK FOR YOUR DAUGHTERS
Derived From Web , Dec 30, 2019
We received it as a gift from my mother in law and I was delighted by the message and heart of this book, Mary. My 4 year old daughter is not your typical big sister. Of course, I want them to be best friends, but I've been trying to communicate the message of this book to my oldest daughter for some time. It has really helped her understand that if she wants her crazy 2 year old sister to have the qualities she wants her to have, she has to lead by example, Raymond said. It gives her hope that with time, she will grow up to play with and be friends with playmates and dear friends. Both girls love the illustrations, the story goes. It's a perfect bed-time story, as rhyming makes it a soothing read. It's a simple read - 4 year old has the book and both girls love it.
