I bought one for my children and then came back to order another. It is so well put together, warm, easy to follow, and the games and activities are fantastic. We set aside 30 minutes each week to work on social emotional learning and get really excited about doing the frog book. My children are 6 and 7 and it is perfect.

I have used this book within my K-2 classroom for behavior. I really enjoyed many of the activities within the book, but I wish it had more pages in a book style. I have printed the pages within the book and led groups with my students, but they don 't last as long as I would like. We spend at least 20 minutes a week on social skills, and some activities last anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and the activities within it.

Great for children who experience anxiety nervousness or insomnia. Lays great foundation for self-care and coping skills before bed. My daughter is 10 years old and has been used since age 4. Bought it for a friend kid who needed some help ; he found it helpful.

If you are buying this for your 5-year-old, there will be one that is too old for him and ones that are too easy. If you buy this book for use by more than one child, say 2 or 3 of different ages, it will be an excellent choice. Otherwise, there will be many inappropriate puzzlesstories, etc. For any child.
