but this book is a great starting point

I have a set of these books and they are very enjoyable to read, Raymond said. I do it before my grandniece visits to help me explain physics in a simple way to a 4-year old.

Not so bad at all - quite good actually

Wanted to learn some physics, heard about Feynman, bought the book and managed to learn a few things, said Phil Hubbard, a professor at the University of California-Berkeley. Starting with atoms and what was known about them in his time, he managed to develop a series of lectures that clarified all the covered fields for me and also intrigue me to look for more in other places.

Very enjoyable instrument to take me back to the world of physics !

This book has been written in a very enjoyable style, and I came to appreciate fully Mr. Feynman, Penguin said. But it can be a great help to newcomers and also to people who already have some understanding of physics. 0 2622010 2622070 The book deals with introductory physics and can be a great help to people who have not had any prior knowledge of the subject. It's great to have a good product like that, recommend it. The second book is already in the hands of Amazon. com.

An excellent first taste or refresher to physics

Great for non-physicists; a pleasure for physicists
Derived From Web , Apr 29, 2022
Feynman was one of the 20th century's great theoretical physicists. Six Not So Easy Pieces by Brian Schaeffer and Robert Hein are also a pleasure for students of physics. You are also highly recommendably written by Michael Lewis, who has done a great deal with children. Whether you're a fiction writer or nonfiction writer, you can read all of his books.

Very informative and somewhat entertaining. This book gives the basics about physics and is easy to understand. Well written!

It was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. This book is a must-have for anyone interested in the basic concepts of physics. Loved the drawings which really helps the reader have a better understanding of what Feynman is talking about, said Robert Ingrassia.

Now I know quantum mechanics!
Derived From Web , Jul 14, 2020
Even though I was never mathematically inclined, I still get mild anxiety when confronted with formulas. However, after reading Six Easy Pieces, I now understand the theories behind the research. I definitely recommend this as part of any essential reading list, mainly for how it will expand the range and types of things you'll know a bit about.

“Refreshing†take on concepts you should already know
Derived From Web , Apr 12, 2020
The book was presented in a way that made it seem like the lectures were being given to an audience already familiar with the subjects. This is not a substitute for a textbook. It has far too few illustrations and is too casual, the book's author said. But it has value if you already know what he is talking about and would appreciate someone helping you to step back from the minutiae and see the bigger picture. I intend to revisit this book after reading a textbook.

This was different. Entertaining but different.
Derived From Web , Jan 22, 2020
The six easy parts deal with the basic concepts of physics. Feynman was clearly a guy who understood the principles of physics, not just the math and problem solving techniques. Sometimes the mathematical approach is easier to follow, but Feynman's descriptions of the principles are really rewarding, if you hang with them long enough.

Mostly the same stuff as in the full editions, be careful.
Derived From Web , Aug 25, 2018
Be careful, as even though these are incredibly great books, if you plan to get the larger 3 editions or already have them, the Six Pieces books contain clipped pieces of his lectures. Before you can read the reviews, you must have read all the feynman small books. These six-part books are great for people who aren't going to buy the larger editions.
