A book to remind a child that brown skin is beautiful
I enjoyed reading it with my girls. They had many questions after reading it.

   Classroom Teacher loves it!
It was perfect for my classroom. I had a student ask if she could have a copy. I bought another one.

   young black girl loves it
The girl loved the book. She gives it a rating of 4 stars. I feel like adult reviews compliment the skin color other than comparing it to food. I was looking for something different. It is good for kids to see that their skin color is accepted.

Spelling and Grammatical Errors, Forced Rhymes
I ended up returning the book because of the spelling and language issues. The caramel should be not carmel. Grandpa should be capitalized. I don't know about you, but I like variety and that's why the comma is in the wrong place. Wouldn't it be a shame if everyone was the same? There are mistakes in Oh How I Love My Brown Skin!. The forced rhymes made it hard to read out loud. The story is cute and the illustrations are adorable, but young readers deserve better than this.

   Beautifully Written
There are different shades of brown skin and why they are beautiful. The content is good. The authoreditor should have caught the error.

I gave this book to my friend's daughter for her birthday and she loves it. Representation is important

   Love!
My biracial foster kids have colorism issues and I bought these for them. Helped show them that brown and black skin is also beautiful.

   Cute but cheap.
The title and front cover of the book made me very excited. The illustrations are nice, but the book is cheap. I could have printed it. I would save $10 if someone took a picture of me, but I wish the quality was better.
