... to grasp the concept of the book - I like how it explains that being Bombaloo is scary because ...
My daughter LOVES this book _ we had borrowed it from the library but I bought one so she could have her own _ She's 4 and gets all bent out of shape and she seems to grasp the concept of the book.

   mixed feelings on this one
I purchased to teach my students in my special education classroom. The book would be great as it explains why it is okay to be angry but it focuses so much more on the negative behaviors rather than on correcting them. Professionals in the field say the book is highly recommended by early childhood professionals. Our children know they are loved and that in the end, everything will work out okay.

Sometimes I'm Bombaloo and so are you!
I absolutely love this book. It's just that I read it to my second grade classes every year. We have a good laugh and we can all relate, he said. We all describe our own feelings as bombaloo. Very easy to read for first-graders.

Lovely, thoughtful treatment of childhood tantrums
Two of my boys have their share of temper tantrums. This book gives a tough childhood topic a sense of humor, realism, and sensitivity that is so approachable for them! It makes discussing their behavior and its consequences so much easier, and so much more effective. This is a priceless gem for the parent of any toddler or preschooler.

LOVE this book - and use it everywhere
I stumbled upon this book when my kids were young and I still use it today - even mom can go bombaloo. I also hope to share this with co-workers that are working on self-awarenesss.. Its a great reminder.

   Great read
This book is fabulous for helping with kids in a pandemic world. Easily helps them know it's okay to be mad, it's the way that you react and learn to calm your "bombaloo" that matters.

Badly written! Not a relatable storyline.
I'm really deciding on painting over the story and writing a better one. This has really bad wording and yes, I understand it's a child book, but come on. The comments are so misleading, even for seasoned journalists.

Ok to get mad, great book for showing how.
Super cute story that normalizes angry feelings and shows positive resolution, the writer said. He said his 3yo related to me immediately. A great book for our cozy corner.

This book was recommended to me by a colleague. Happy I ordered! It's perfect for our preschoolers. They enjoyed the illustrations and the story. Great vehicle to discuss anger, he said.
