One of my favorite books ever!
As soon as I started reading this book, I stopped reading long enough to buy a copy to send to my 24-year-old daughter. Like me, she is an adventurous introvert, and I knew that she would relate and learn from the lessons that the author experienced. A really easy, fun read and an exceptionally relatable, funny and engrossing story.

I can't recommend this jewel enough.
It is possible to integrate some of the seemingly scary extrovert properties into our lives... and survive. Try something new, have fun and above all, allow yourself to be grace as you immerse into the experience.

If you self-identify as an introvert or shy then you will want to read this book!
I know what you are thinking. You read Susan Cain's Quiet and think that you don 't need to read any more on the subject, but you are absolutely wrong. I am a social introvert and picked this up in the hope of finding an amusing read with some relatable anecdotes. Not only did I find them, but I also picked up a few helpful tricks and tips for surviving uncomfortable situations. Pan does her research-including interviewing psychologists and finding expert mentors before putting herself in these scary situations. I found myself taking mental notes as I tried her experiences and followed a few of the expert tips she shared. The best part is that if you are a research nerd, the back of the book is chock full of notes and references to the research she did, much of which you can find online or in the library if her book inspires you to take a deeper dive.

   An entertaining and informative read
I am not an introverter, but I am an introvert and laughed and learned as Jessica was journeying over a year after trying activities out of her comfort zone. Bravo!

   Lovely and entertaining read
This book loved absolutely! It is a great combination of storytelling, inspiration and comedy. Jessica Pan does a great job of bringing her research on introversionextroversion into her own stories on the year she decided to test out being an extrovert.

   Introvert approved!
This really hit home as I am an introvert, but also I loved her style of writing, and interviewed experts and helped on the way. Her research was facilitating and I truly loved this book.

   Funny, scary and relatable.
A lot of the stuff she forced herself to try was waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone. Mad props to her for giving it a go, and I was happy to live through her vicariously. The author is funny and has a way of making you feel part of the story. I am not sure if it is because I related so much to her story or if she is just that awesome.
