Travel the world with the Sounds of Nature series - press the note in each of the 10 habitats to hear vivid recordings of over 60 different bird sounds.

The Sounds of Nature series brings the natural world to life with the sounds of real animals recorded in the wild. Captivating edge-to-edge illustrations show animals in action in their habitats around the globe. The animals are numbered in the order they can be heard, with fascinating facts and descriptions of the sounds they make, so you can listen out for each one. A speaker set into the back cover plays a sound clip when you press firmly on the note in each illustration. The battery is already installed, so simply open and explore.

In World of Birds, discover these amazing habitats: rainforest of New Guinea; Himalayan Mountains; Sonoran desert; North American prairie; English woods; Antarctic ice and ocean; Lake Nakuru in Kenya; city of Paris, France; Atlantic Ocean off Africa; and Australian outback.

Listen to these wonderful places come to life as you hear the:

   Lindas ilustraciones
Las ilustraciones son lindas, pero los sonidos no son buenos, van uno tras el otro sin ninguna pausa, cuando termina uno y empieza el otro. El mo vino con las pilas gastadas y reemplazarlas con reemplazarlas.

   Fantastic
My preschooler and toddler are lately super into birds and love this book! The sound effects are great to push, but hard to find otherwise!

   Lovely, but with some flaws
Two cons : The sound buttons are difficult to distinguish such that my child can not do it, and also the noises of each of the creatures are played in rapid succession - two seconds at most for each, making it very difficult to push them from each other.

   Wonderful
Jacob's grandson and his mother, Laura, lived it. That is what a great book should do. Please and inspire all that see, and in this case hear it through sounds.

   Very educational
My two year old daughter is obsessed with this book and loved to listen to the birds'sounds! I love that you can keep the batteries in case they die, so we can use it again for ever. Descriptions are good, but long, so that we get a better use when she is older.

   No sound! Battery not working.
Beautiful illustrations by Michael Rosset. The battery was dead, however, and there was no sound. Bought this book as a birthday present for my son.

   Gotta love birds!
This is a beautiful book. The illustrations are clear and accurate and the sounds are beautiful. The way the birds are presented makes learning about them easy and fun. I recommend this book for children as an introduction or study of birds.

Colorful and fun book for all ages!
Great book with awesome art! The only thing is that it is kinda hard to press the sound buttons through all the pages. A non-issue for adults and larger children, but when your independent toddler wants to do it themselves, it can be an inconvenience.

Best gift of the holiday season
I can not overstate how wonderful this book is. The bird sounds are magical and it keeps my 3 year old granddaughter still for a considerable amount of time-listening and pressing the button. This is now on my list of the BEST child gifts and I will give it often.
