Sous Vide for Everybody is an approachable cookbook that demystifies sous vide cooking and demonstrates how it can make your life easier, while also giving you the tools to try exciting new dishes.
Originally from the French for under vacuum because it often involves sealing food in plastic, sous vide allows you to cook food gently in an automatic water bath to the perfect temperature. That may sound intimidating, but the technique has trickled down from experimental fine-dining restaurant kitchens to the home kitchen precisely because it's an easy, convenient, and hands-off way to cook. Sous vide not only makes traditional cooking easier and more foolproof, it often can help to make food taste better, taking away all the guesswork and giving you back some free time. In this cookbook, you will find recipes that teach you how to cook sous vide, starting with basics like the perfect steak or soft-cooked egg. You will also find recipes that expand your knowledge and creativity in the kitchen using sous vide, from a holiday-worthy chuck roast that tastes like a prime rib at a fraction of the cost to eggs Benedict to fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt cups.It takes about 5 Hours and 1 minutes on average for a reader to read Sous Vide For Everybody: The Easy, Foolproof Cooking Technique That's Sweeping The World. This is based on the average reading speed of 250 Words per minute.
Sous Vide For Everybody: The Easy, Foolproof Cooking Technique That's Sweeping The World is 232 pages long.
Good variety

Good coverage of things to cook, plus some great recipes. I would like to see a thermometer for measuring the temperature of all the food.

This book is TERRIFIC!
Derived From Web , Jun 23, 2019
This book is everything I hoped it would be. I've been dabbling in Sous vide for a few months now, and recently invested in a second device, as well as a box and a rack. Up till now, I've been reading articles and recipes online, to try the waters, if you will. The book gives me scientific info and advice, as well as TONS of practical recipes that I will actually use. I cannot say enough good things about Beckham. I usually buy cookbooks for my kindle and use them on my ipad. I'm really happy I bought this book because I will be using it frequently and recommending it to everyone!

A nice variety of recipes, with clear instructions, Morgenthau said. The discussion was especially interesting because each technique was described in great detail.

Best basic Sous Vide cookbook ever
Derived From Web , Dec 9, 2018
I've had a lot of cookbooks, but this one stands out. I have been using the sous vide for a year now. There are many books with fancy recipes, but this one is best for the great instructions and the fairly simple every day recipes. It also has pictures of what the dish looks like when done. I have purchased one for myself and three for others who are beginners.

Great step by step

The trailer is pretty impressive, too, considering the PG-13 rating. Like the charts, it makes it easy to find what you're looking for.

Excellent

Disclaimer: This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed. The problem is, the reviews are already posted. I'm excited to try many of the recipes, said Allison. The book, although paper-backed, and with a less-inspiring cover, is inspirational in its content, thoughtfully put together accompanied by glorious, drool worthy full-page photographs. Basic yogurt, chicken salad or shrimp co-ctail are some of the recipes that stand out. Others are inventive, yet also eminently doable, such as the egg yolk sauce, or the creme brulee. Everything is very well explained, said Dr. Goin. This book will be particularly helpful if you are new to sous vide or if you wish to broaden your repertoire. If you are seeking a comprehensive how-to-cook everything sous vide, this book may not be for you.

Love It!

I've done a lot of online research on sous vide cooking, but there were some gaps in my understanding that this book cleared up, Morgenthau said. Thanks for your help! Last night was the first time I used my sous vide and I fixed the Crispy-Skinned Chicken Thighs recipe, which worked great! It's great to be back home, said Sambo. I like that they are using Mason jars on a lot of their desserts. The new technology makes it seem like the entire dessert was created by hand.
