Each book of the Bible has well-written summaries with good information. However
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I purchased these books for our church because its the most recently revised version of the NABRV approved by the US Catholic Bishops, and the book is very inexpensive, said the Rev. John Paul DeJaunan, assistant bishop for the archdiocese. However, the price tag did not include all the features of the D.S.A. The font is very difficult to read by both middle school students and older adults because it is so small. Each book of the Bible has well-written summaries with good information, he said. For youth, and, adults too, I have recommended spending a little more money on youth Bibles, such as the one by St Mary's Press. The font is larger and they include many more informative articles and commentaries, which are very well written and highlight further text. There are also a few illustrations and additional references which most find helpful.

THE Catholic Bible to buy!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
For those seeking an easy-to-read version of the Catholic Bible, this is the book for you. The NAB is the version of the Rite of Christian Initiation that is used in the Catholic Lectionary. It's time to get serious about fixing the game of thrones, Tunick said.

He added that he would have liked it had come with a stronger cover or hard cover, rather than just a soft cover.

Great Catholic Bible for the price
Derived From Web , May 10, 2020
There are footnotes to every book. There are a number of titles in the Harry Potter series that deal with the lives of ordinary people. Small print is not that bad, even if the cover is off. It's just too expensive to beat the price, plus tax. A great deal, Mr. Dhaliwal said. I'm really happy with my first Catholic Bible. In the back of the book, there is also a list of Christ's parables and miracles, as well as a list of popes. Very good introductory material, said Dr. Goin. It's just a great all around Bible for a great price, Sosa said. Great for students who want to study the Lord's holy word.

Very Disappointed!!!
Derived From Web , Oct 8, 2019
The book arrived with all its contents in tact, but was very dirty, out of shape, damaged and old looking. I need this for a class I take at my church once a week and don't have time to ship back and wait for new ones, but I will not be ordering anything ever again as I am very upset with my purchase!

Hard to see
Derived From Web , May 17, 2018
The paper is a dark off-white, so it doesn't offer much contrast, especially in low lighting. The tranalation is pretty easy to understand, and it's the one used in mass which is nice, too. Its not very heavy, even with its full-size bible. It's not quite as light as a compact bible, but I think its much lighter than most. Its just that I never use it because it's so hard to see.

Disappointed with the size
Derived From Web , Feb 1, 2018
The font is extremely small and is generally used in smaller books. Like a pocket book for reference, this book is also often used for extended reading. The sellers' description is accurate, so the blame for me lies with me, because I prefer a book that I can lay in my lap to read and not hold close to my face, he said.

Easy to understand, but hard to follow the flow around the footnotes

I can understand the wording of this version of the Bible, but all the footnotes are distracting.

A lot of great clear explanations to help understand the time
Derived From Web , Jun 5, 2017
I decided that the number of positive numbers outweighed the negative. The font is small and so can make reading difficult, even for the most experienced readers. There are many positives to be had from the deal. The book is small enough to make it easy to carry, and that is without taking any additional books or extra text from the old testament.

Great for the Catholic kids in Bible study
Derived From Web , Mar 18, 2017
It's great for the Catholic kids in Bible study. Our priest had told us that it was necessary, in case we ran into trouble. These Bibles go out of supply around the time that school starts, so get one early, if you need one.
