I bought this book after doing a general search for children's books about horses for my 7 year old. I gave it to her for Christmas and read half of it in a night. She loves it absolutely. I wish there were more than 2 books ''.

   Disappointed. Will not be giving to my granddaughter.
A headstrong sneaky 9 year old girl ignores her grandmother's instructions, which were meant for her safety, and there are no consequences. Not a lesson I want to relay to my granddaughter. I will donate this book rather than recycle it.

   great kids book for little horse lovers
I am reading this to my 7 - year old granddaughter and she loved it. I've found the conflicts in the story, which were resolved with kindness. I hope that the author writes more in this series!
