We like the Bruce books. We love to read the many that we have. This book is not as good as the other Bruce books, but we did not like it. It is not a book I would buy again, it will be one of the first to leave the collection and be donated.

   Smaller than other Bruce Books
I ordered this book. There aren't as many details in the book as there are now. There is a cute story. Not as cute as the regular books. The size of the book surprised me. I wish it was like the other Bruce books.

   WHAT HAPPENED?
I waited impatiently for the book to arrive after I pre-ordered it. I returned it to Amazon after it arrived. What happened. We own all of the Mother Bruce books and we are adults in our 70's. We enjoy reading them. The story of Spring Stinks was thin, weak, and uninteresting. The end left me hanging. I tried to unstick the missing page. On a negative note, the art was not good. I'll wait impatiently for the next chapter, I'm a fan. Counting on you, Ryan. You have the ability to do it!

   Not the regular size Bruce book...
The story line is short and cute. As always, the artwork is adorable. The size of the book is very small. The short story was accommodated. I was disappointed that I paid $10 for a book. If you actually get what you pay for, $5-6 might be more acceptable.

   Easy and Fun Narrative
A friend's 3-year-old was hit with a huge hit. I'm a big fan of the Mother Bruce books. I got this one for a friend's daughter. It's smaller in size and has a lighter narrative than a Bruce picture book. It's much easier to hold. Her daughter loved Ruth the bunny. For younger Bruce fans, I highly recommend it. The art is gorgeous, the text is fun and the humor is spot on for little ones. She would like to read more Little Bruce Books. Fantastic book.

   A Little Bruce Book—No Disappointment Here!
The book is smaller, and the text is shorter. The temperament of Bruce has not changed, and the illustrations are what we expect. The book is called a Little Bruce Book. It's perfect for small hands and Bruce fans. It is not pasted in big bold letters in the description, which many people seem to have missed. This purchaser is happy. There are books of all sizes on our shelves. My kids are at different levels of interest and attention span. I want to get more Little Bruce books.

   This book stinks!
I pre-ordered it because my son and I are huge fans of the Mother Bruce series. My son couldn't hide his disappointment when it happened. It is half the size of the rest of the Bruce books and the content is not up to par. It is more like a book for beginners with one repetitive sentence per page. We are returning it.

It was a big disappointment. There is little content in the book, which is why it is half the usual size. Most of the book is about a rabbit and Bruce talking about the smell of grass and daisies, while the rabbit talks about the sweet smell of daisies. I'm returning the book because my grandson would be very disappointed with it.

What happened to the Bruce books? The other Mother Bruce books are larger. The story is great, but the size on the shelf stinks.
