   Wonderful Resource For My Daighter
When I got her the book, she was 5 and in kindergarten. At school, she was having problems with some strong personalities. She was new, and most of the kids went to pre-k together, so she really wanted to fit in and make friends, she said. Thanks to Dr. Goin for the book. It gave her the courage to speak out, breaking the silence and making her voice heard. Many, many years ago, we read it together. She will come home and ask me to read it with her, Mr. Gest said. It's given us a starting for many great conversations and she's taught us empathy for other kids.

My 9 year old daughter absolutely loved it. She read it again and again, she said. She gave it to her niece for Christmas. Young readers, I think it would be appropriate for them as young as six if you read it to them and explained some of the concepts.

   Please be able to speak up!
It gives you quizzes on is this bullying or what's your speak up style like for example,there's a girl in your class that tells about to help a boy when he just tripped,or,people have been posting horrible things about a girl in your class but never say anything to her face. Being cyberbullied is one of the worst things I read this book and all my other American girl books.

   I bought them used and they came in perfect condition.
The clicks are forming and name calling is starting. The Harrisons helped a lot, he said. She loves them, runs to the mailbox when i tell her i ordered another, and then runs back to the car when i tell her i ordered another. Both are written well and in language that kids can relate to too. Brand new, never used, in perfect condition.
