It saved my Statistics!!

Thanks to this book, I have a statistical base. I'm a graduate student and I need to know more about statistics. In order to finish my dissertation, I have to relearn it. The book talks about the concepts in plain English. I was able to understand the concepts that the professors never explained in class. I also bought the Statistics for Dummies II from the same author and she talks about more advanced statistics that I will be using for my dissertation. This book will be highly recommended to those who are not good at mathematics and statistics and want to learn it from the basic, in plain English.

This book is very basic. Ordered it to help ...

Basic is the only book I've ever encountered that really explains everything. Ordered it to be sent to my professor for a statistical course. The information was easy to understand and did not help with the course at all. It is, however, written at a very low level. Might help a high school student a little, as long as they don't need too much detail, Mr. Rule told the judge.

Stats book

I used it while taking a class. It was very helpful to the new teacher, said Dr. Paul Dhaliwal, director of the university's engineering faculty. He added that the term "foundational" is used only in reference to the original work.

Worth the money.
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I used this book for taking the admissions test and found it to be quite helpful. I'm tempted to give it 5 stars, but in some cases it didn't go into as much detail as I'd like for the material. It's still a great buy, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

Brilliant!

I'm so pleased with this book that I can't wait for part II, which I think will be as brilliant, he said. The book is well written, simple and perfect, Simon said. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to know basic statistics. The only regret I have is not buying the book when I was breaking my head in a classroom accident. Three years ago, I was offered a master's degree in biostatistics by the University of Pennsylvania's School of Public Health. For Dummies, the price is $12.

Great supplement
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I have never met a book that was so good. It's great to have a supplement to my biostatistics class. It helps provide a more in-depth explanation of the problem than the required text book. Like all the other books in the Dummies series, The Fifth Book places the material in an easy to understand format. If you have any questions, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants a more creative, understandable explanation for this and other subjects.

Pretty Good Book
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
The first two chapters of this book drove me crazy. While I can see the cleverness of that approach, it drove me crazy. If I wanted to know what was going to be presented in the book I would have just read the entire thing. Once the author did get around to actually explaining the concepts it was well done with real-world examples and common vernacular that made it easy to understand. It certainly helped me, Mr. Kennedy said of the surgery. If you're about to start this book, just start at Chapter 3 and go from there.
