Stick Dog and his friends return, and they're hungrier than ever

As the dogs embark on their quest for hot dogs, they learn they're not the only ones on a mission--a band of raccoons is following close behind, and they're ravenous, too

In this second book in the series, Stick Dog and his four friends, Poo-Poo, Mutt, Stripes, and Karen, must execute a master plan for stealing hot dogs. The closer they get to the hot dog vendor, the more difficult their mission becomes.

The five dogs are met with many funny challenges along the way, including having to distract the frankfurter guy and Karen getting locked in a human's house. No matter what, these dogs have their eyes--and stomachs--on the prize.

With hilarious text and stick-figure drawings, reluctant readers will eat this one up Perfect for fans of the Dog Man, Big Nate, Timmy Failure, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.

Also available as an ebook and audiobook.

   The coolest book
It had a funny humor. The book was very interesting to me.
Even better than the first! : )
It is way better than the first. I am 9 years old and looking for you mom and dads out there? It is worth the $$. The sons or daughters of this book will LOVE! This is again about Hungry's stick dog. For 8-10, recommended. The good job was done by Tom Watson.
I think Stick Dog wants a good dog is a really hot book. It was the race between dogs and raccoons, but there are some problems on the way. During their plan, Karen hops into a laundry basket and the strange man takes the laundry basket, so there is a problem. For some time, the dogs are trying to get Karen out of the bearded man's house, but I think it was a really good book.
   Love it!
My 11-year-old daughter loves the Stick Dog books and got me hooked on them, especially the drawings. I know that the author claims that the pictures aren 't wonderful, but they are good and quite expressive! Love, love, and too love the story.
my grandson got the first book at the libary and ...
My grandson received the first book at the library and wanted to read more, so he asked me for his Christmas present if I could find the rest and get them to him for Christmas. Well, I knew that Amazon would have them or no one would. He got them and when he opened them, he had to read them all before he went to bed.
My 8 and 10 year olds liked it
My children don 't enjoy reading like I wish. But they both liked Stick Dog and wished that the writer would hurry up and put out more. The story is deep but cute, but not silly at all. I left one star simply because it is the great '' in my opinion, but enough stars to indicate that the kids like it.
