More Humurous Tales from Grandma's Attic

We all grew up with The Grandma's Attic series. I didn't realize I had a tenth and final book until recently. I hunted it down to find it at my local library, rather than marvel at how I could have missed it. It was great to pick up another one of the adventures. This one is similar to the first four books as each chapter is a separate story with an important moral to convey. Arleta Richardson provided a timeline and an author's note at the end of her book and I liked it. These books are great for a read- aloud or just to read on your own, as they are humorous stories about historical events and lessons on Christian faith.

Arleta Richardson's Grandma's Attic series is a trip through the olden days. The reader is given a glimpse of life in simpler times when she tells them from her grandmother's point of view. Thanks to help from her friends, Sarah Jane is able to find herself in the most awkward situations, and now her life is complicated with lively children to add to the adventures. The laugh aloud stories are enjoyed by everyone.
