Poor Quality Production
Derived From Web , Feb 13, 2022
The book is very poorly made, with cover and interior pages alike measuring just 2.5 inches by 3 1/2 inches. It has all the look and feel of a DIY copy you might make in a copy shop rather than a professionally published book. I have a copy of the book on my kindle, which is upside down.

Great Examples
Derived From Web , Jul 23, 2021
As a teacher and a graduate student, this was a great book filled with tons of examples. Thanks for the great example of how the excel files used in the examples are available online and that there is R code that goes with many of the examples for recreating the images.

BEST book for learning the hows and whys of data visualization
Derived From Web , Nov 5, 2019
I'm so excited to see what the rest of the book is about, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the story is about. I lead a team of survey researchers and data analysts, and I always recommend this book to my colleagues. It's just that they're sitting there, too, on my office shelf. This book gives very concrete examples of what visuals to use for which kinds of data, and walks readers through the hows and whys of data viz decision making. This is a great resource for anyone using data in business.

Yes, I do. He's got a new album out Monday, and I think it's going to be great." As a lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business, I've been teaching with her first book, Storytelling with Data, for the past three years. I highly recommend this product to my students and clients. Her ability to simplify the complex message without losing its power is second to none. Thanks to Amazon, I am now able to read this book. Get better by practice and teaching
Derived From Web , Oct 24, 2019
The best way to learn is to practice and teach others, he said. The book, "Designing for Success: A Guide to Building a Professional Information Design Team," will be used by information designers who are interested in enhancing their craft and teaching others. Thanks to Cole, we can all learn how to do the work that all of us in the visualization field need most: visualization. Don't just learn make sure you go out and share the knowledge you will acquire in this book and show your friends how to do the same. Thanks for all the love, Mr. Cole.

Great book!!
Derived From Web , Oct 22, 2019
Given how much I loved the first book, I had high expectations for the sequel. Only when he exceeded them did we stop listening to him. Is it time to buy the first book? I recommend purchasing both as I have learned so much from each. Yes, I still refer back to the first book and will add this second one to my desk. The new edition includes more tips, examples, and thoughtful questions to help you take your learning to the next level.
