Good Read
Derived From Web , May 6, 2022
Really enjoyed reading this book. I read it gradually over a year, gradually. The reason I came back was because I couldn't sleep. It helped me quiet my mind. It got me into books about life and being, Raymond said. Many might look at this book over but it can give a very valuable perspective on life if open minded. I didn't realize how intelligent Bruce Lee was until I read this book.

His Philosophy and Sayings Seem Complete

Summarizes a great deal of Bruce's philosophy. Usually, you only get bits and pieces of his ideas. A good read, Pauley.

KO Global Philosophy with a 20th Century Legend
Derived From Web , Dec 22, 2020
Lee disambiguates Chinese philosophy for the misinformed American audience and reflects it at some of the heavy hitters of the Western canon in very plain language and the innate understanding of a continent-hopper. This is a great crash course in thought. What, in my opinion, enhances this is the effect of some peculiarities of the 1970s very clearly inform his discussion. He has a section on race and gender roles and confronts readings of Chinese, though made by bad-faith gurus in a manner that speaks of his time but is all too relevant today.

A guidebook to life’s simple truths
Derived From Web , Sep 26, 2019
As much as I would have loved taking martial arts training from Bruce, I would have also enjoyed just talking with him on various subjects. Very enlightening and motivating. As easy to read as a book with many brief statements that challenge you to make your own path. nan The book, paper, and print are excellent binding, only adding to the pleasure of reading Bruce Lee's thoughts.

I was going to read this book more fully but.....
Derived From Web , Apr 9, 2019
So I was looking to get some uplifting, kick motivational in the pants to further get my act together and I came across this book. So in the title above I was going to read the wisdom of the Dragon himself until I accidentally ended up on the index section and found a quote that stuck out to me. Forget about your feelings and become one with the that message was so powerful, I almost forgot about reading the rest of the book, and immediately went into beast mode on my studies. As a result of reading that statement I have nearly finished 3 online courses, came up with 2 to 4 new story concepts, knocked out some soldering training, and rapidly approaching new programming courses. Now I need to work on my sleeping pattern, so yeah, I want to buy this book. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

Simplistic awesomeness
Derived From Web , Oct 23, 2018
It sounds like Bruce Lee was writing. His thoughts were unique, complex and yet simple. It's one of those books, that you wish, every idea you had and put it on a cheat sheet notebook. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to grow or learn but not in a textbook form. Great pickup reading for the average lab rat.

Good for quick reading sessions.
Derived From Web , Nov 4, 2017
If you only have a few minutes to read, this is a great book. It is written in short quotes a line to a paragraph long. Bruce has already done the search for us and shortened it into easy to understand philosophical sayings.
